David W. Fleming will celebrate his 2nd anniversary as senior pastor at Warren Baptist Church in Augusta on March 24.

Northwoods Baptist Church in Chamblee will celebrate its 50th anniversary on April 24. All former members and friends are invited to come and celebrate with the church. Lunch will be served following the morning service. Contact Judy Barker for more information at (770) 457-8551.

Melvin Wise will celebrate his 45th anniversary as a vocational evangelist on March 1. Wise served as a pastor before being called into full-time evangelism in 1960. It is believed he has conducted more revivals in Georgia - more than 1,000 - than any living evangelist.

Wise is a former vice president of the Georgia Baptist Convention and has served several terms as president of the Conference of Georgia Baptist Evangelists. In 1987 he was honored at the Southern Baptist Convention, along with Billy Graham, Cliff Barrows, and Leonard Sanderson, for many years of "distinguished service" as an evangelist. He and his wife, Emily, have organized and led more than 80 Christian heritage pilgrimages and mission tours to many parts of the world.
