Ordinations

Timothy D. Alley, William C. Cockerill, Riley Jones, and Wiley K. Lovins were ordained as deacons at Union Grove Baptist Church in Lithia Springs on Feb. 6.

Chet Bennett was ordained into the deacon ministry at Heritage Baptist Church in Douglasville on Feb. 6.

Billy Cates, Billy Freeman, Mike Hamner, Charlie Long, and David Taylor were ordained as deacons at First Baptist Church in Covington on Jan. 16.

Bobby Causey was ordained as a deacon on Jan. 23 at Glyndale Baptist Church in Brunswick. Ken Creekmore is pastor.

Cleve Scovill and Dirk Wooster were ordained into the ministry at Dorsett Shoals Baptist Church in West Metro Baptist Association on Jan. 9. Tom Kaplan is pastor.

Thomas H. Smith was ordained as a deacon at First Baptist Church in Rockmart on Feb. 6.
