Church Expansion

Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville expanded its property area through a land transaction the final week of February. The church purchased 9.11 acres adjacent to its existing property, bringing the total land area of the church to more than 17 acres.

A recent remodeling project on the church brought the sanctuary to 500-seating capacity and fellowship hall to 300. Ron Milne is senior pastor.
