Honors

First Baptist Church in Powder Springs recently renamed its missions offering in honor of member Harold Wilcox.

Wilcox, an employee of the former Home Mission Board for 26 years, is credited as being the driving force behind First Baptist's initial church-wide mission trip to Dayton, Ohio in 1992. Since then, the church has promoted mission trips for the congregation every two years. This summer they will travel to Williamsburg, Ky.
