Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church in East Point will celebrate its 60th anniversary on May 1. Former members and staff are invited to the celebration and luncheon to follow. Worship will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Jones Creek Baptist Church in Ludowici will celebrate its 195th anniversary with a homecoming celebration April 24. The morning service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with past ministers of music leading worship. Former pastor J. D. Bowen of Waycross will bring the message. The afternoon will include a dinner on the grounds, baptism in the creek, and a music program.
