Centennial Baptist Church in Rutledge held revival services April 3-6 with evangelist Keith Fordham of Fayetteville speaking. Donnie Compton, associate pastor and minister of music, reports 17 professions of faith, 4 baptisms and 3 transfers of letter. During the youth night, 92 teenagers made commitments to moral purity and one accepted a call to full-time ministry. Wilburn Hill is pastor.

 

Cuthbert First Baptist Church held revival services March 20-23 with evangelist Jerry Drace speaking. One profession of faith and several other decisions were made. Tom McClendon is pastor.

 

Hoboken Baptist Church held revival services March 28-April 1 with Ben Glosson, pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Hazlehurst, speaking. Three professions of faith were made. Timothy L. Hall is pastor.

 

First Baptist Church of Homerville recently held revival services with evangelist Keith Fordham and music evangelists Jeff and Diane Anders of Jennings, Fla. leading worship. Many rededications were made, as well as one answering the call to preach. The Sunday after the revival three made professions of faith saying they should have come forward on Tuesday night.

 

Leslie Baptist Church recently held revival services with evangelist Keith Fordham of Fayetteville speaking. Pastor Chuck Poplin reports 8 baptisms, 3 transferring letters and a number of rededications.

 

Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Griffin held revival services March 20-23 with evangelist Len Turner speaking. Thirty-six professions of faith were made as well as 9 other decisions. Ted Moody is pastor.

 

Rehoboth Baptist Church in Claxton held revival services March 27-30 with evangelist Bailey Smith speaking. Thirty-one professions of faith were made, as well as many other decisions. During the evening service on April 3, 27 people were baptized. David Hagan is pastor.

 

First Baptist Church of Rochelle held revival services March 6-9. Evangelist Don Ledbetter of Fayetteville spoke as well as led a marriage retreat on Friday and Saturday prior to the revival. As a result of the combination of services, there were 11 professions of faith. Nine of the eleven were baptized on Easter morning. Jim Wiley is Pastor.

 

Shady Grove Baptist Church in Carrollton held revival services April 3-6 with Harold Hunter of Jacksonville, Fla., speaking. Ten professions of faith were made, as well as many other decisions. R. Jerome Mitchell is pastor.

 

Toomsboro Baptist Church held revival services March 6-9 with evangelist Steve Keaner preaching. Pastor Mark Grinsted reports ten professions of faith.

 

Victory Baptist Church in Tifton held revival services March 20-23 with evangelist Bill Long speaking. Pastor Jimmy Odum reports seven professions of faith.

 

Four South Georgia churches combined in hosting revival services March 13-16. Pastors speaking during services were: Rendell Day of Preston Baptist, David Chapman of New Providence Baptist in Buena Vista, Raymond Smith of Mt. Carmel Baptist in Buena Vista and Robert Orr of Macedonia Baptist in Preston.

Evangelist David Ring spoke March 16 at the Webster County Elementary School gymnasium. Day reports 41 professions of faith and 275 rededications.
