Georgia Baptist Historical Commission names Crosby new vice chairman

The Georgia Baptist Historical Commission voted in a new vice chairman at its spring meeting April 8. In addition, the group discussed its museum to be housed at the new Georgia Baptist Convention building currently under construction off Sugarloaf Parkway in Gwinnett County.

Denny Crosby, of Hahira, was elected to serve as vice chairman of the commission. In other business, the group voted to mark the gravesite of nineteenth century Baptist novelist and pastor A.C. Dayton of Perry and received a historic gavel as a gift from Lamar and Wanda Harper of Ambrose.

Brant Callaway, pastor of Harmony Baptist Church in Monroe, serves as chairman of the commission.
