GAs, RAs alive and well

Having just read the recent letters in The Christian Index I feel compelled to write and say that GAs and RAs are alive and well in our church.

Over the past eighteen months our Wednesday night leadership have spent a great deal of time and energy giving of themselves to provide the creativity necessary to keep children involved in missions education. Their efforts have produced the most exciting Wednesday nights I have ever seen with well over 100 children involved weekly.

Because of committed leadership, our children have been exposed to many opportunities to learn about missions and then to be personally involved in praying, giving and going. Many churches are choosing to remain committed to the responsibility of raising children who are prepared to be on mission with God.

These churches will reap the benefits for many years to come as future generations understand and support Southern Baptist mission efforts around the world.
