Ordinations

Micah Emery was ordained into the gospel ministry by Westview Baptist Church in Hawkinsville on Feb. 29. Emery serves as minister of music and youth at the church. He and his wife, Shannon, have one daughter, Abbey.

Lee Sass was ordained into the pastoral ministry on Feb. 8 by Auburn First Baptist Church in Mulberry Association. Sass has served as youth director at Auburn First for the past two years and will continue as assistant pastor/youth pastor.

Ordination services were held at First Baptist Church in Douglasville on March 10. Kevin Williams was ordained into the gospel ministry, while Eddie Oliver and Mike Walker were ordained as deacons. John Pennington is pastor.
