Retirements

 

Lee Roy Hall, area associational missionary for Central Georgia Area (including Central, Ebenezer, and Kimbell Associations) will retire on March 31 after 15 years of service as a missionary. Hall served as a pastor for 28 years at several churches including: Cedar Creek in Abbieville, Butler First Baptist, Cuthbert First Baptist and Shurlington Church in Macon. He has served as president and vice president of the Georgia Baptist Associational Missionary Fellowship, as well as on the Executive Committee of the Georgia Baptist Convention. In addition, he has served as moderator and on several committees in the Bethel Association.

Following his retirement Hall and his wife, Helen, will live in Douglasville. He will be available to do supply and interim work or to serve part-time on an associational or church staff.

 

Milton Parker announced his retirement as missionary with Hebron Association on Feb. 10. Parker served the association for 15 years and has been involved in ministry for 50 years. He will be available to supply pulpits and preach in revivals. He and his wife, Lena, will continue to live in Elberton.
