John Allen has completed 14 months as interim pastor at Sonoraville Baptist Church in Calhoun.

 

Peavine Baptist Church in Rock Spring called Stephen J. Anthony as pastor beginning July 3.

 

Jim Cannady was ordained into the ministry on Feb. 20 before joining the staff of Second Baptist Church in Griffin. He has been serving as senior adult pastor since March 1.

 

Shadnor First Baptist Church in Union City called Sandor Cheka as youth/children's minister on April 28.

 

Unity Baptist Church in Bonaire called Lewis Cooper as pastor. He began June 12.

 

Morgan Baptist Church in Bethel Association called Tab Howell as pastor effective June 15. He is joined by his wife Candace.

 

First Baptist Church in Moultrie called Quillian S. Mercer as minister of youth on March 20. A native of Sandersville, Mercer comes to the church from Highland Baptist Church in Tullahoma, Tenn. He is joined by his wife, Rachael and sons Payton, 3, and Owen, 1.

 

Charlie Meyer was called as music director at Thundering Springs Baptist Church in Leesburg on April 6.

 

Edgewood Baptist Church in Columbus called Laurie Money as director of preschool and children's ministries. She began serving June 1.

 

First Baptist Church of Fort Valley called Michael Moody as interim pastor. He began his ministry on May 1.

 

First Baptist Church in Albany called William E. "Butch" Night as pastor effective July 10.

 

New Life Baptist Church in Barnesville called Drew Stewart as youth minister. He began his ministry May 22. He is joined by his wife, Tasha.

 

Ben H. Taylor was called as pastor of Milner Baptist Church in Centennial Association effective June 1. Taylor comes to the church from serving as minister of education at First Baptist Church in Macon. He is joined by his wife, Dale, and their daughter, Mary Ben.
