Randy Sprinkle to move from Wyo. for new post in New England

CASPER, Wyo. (BP) - Randy Sprinkle, executive director of the Wyoming Southern Baptist Convention, has accepted a position with the Baptist Convention of New England as transformational leadership director.

Sprinkle has led Wyoming Baptists the past two years. Previously he served as director of the International Mission Board's International Prayer Strategy Office for nine years, and he and his wife Nancy were missionaries in Africa for 14 years.

Sprinkle is the author of a book on prayerwalking, Follow Me: Becoming a Lifestyle Prayerwalker, to be re-released Aug. 1 by the New Hope publishing division of Woman's Missionary Union.

The Wyoming convention's executive board has named Lynn Nikkel to serve as interim executive director for a two-year period. Nikkel most recently has served as the convention's church health strategist.
