Kaye Miller of Little Rock, Ark., was elected June 20 as the new president of Woman's Missionary Union.

Miller, who has served as president of Arkansas WMU since 2002, succeeds Janet Hoffman of Farmerville, La., national WMU's president since 2000.

The oldest of three sisters, Miller was home schooled until the seventh grade. She then attended a boarding school in Bangkok, Thailand, to finish high school.

She continued her education at Baylor University where she earned a bachelor's degree in nursing.

Bill Henry has been named director of the network partnerships area of LifeWay Christian Resources. He replaces Bill Taylor who retired July 1.

Henry has been at LifeWay since 1984. For the last three years he has been managing director of network partnerships, working directly with Taylor. Before that, he was director of LifeWay's national collegiate ministry. Before coming to LifeWay, Henry was associate director of the department of student work for the Tennessee Baptist Convention.

A native of Nashville, Henry holds degrees from Belmont University and Vanderbilt University in Nashville. He also attended Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky.
