Georgia Baptist Convention minutes listing

Lists of ordained ministers who are not serving in the pastorate at the present time and full-time evangelists in fellowship with a church in cooperation with the Georgia Baptist Convention will be published in the 2005 Georgia Baptist Convention Minutes.

These lists will be in addition to the lists of pastors, church staff members, denominational workers, chaplains, and retirees who are receiving annuities from GuideStone Financial Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Ordained ministers not serving in a pastorate desiring that their names appear in the Minutes must be recommended by the pastor of a church cooperating with the Georgia Baptist Convention or by the moderator of the association to which that church belongs. Full-time evangelists must be recommended by the pastor of the church where the evangelist’s membership is held. This church must be a cooperating church with the Georgia Baptist Convention.

Only the names of those who register each year will appear in the Minutes. Registration forms for each group to be listed may be obtained from the office of the executive director and should be returned to Dr. J. Robert White, Executive Director, Georgia Baptist Convention, 2930 Flowers Road South, Atlanta, GA 30341, no later than December 31, 2005.
