Homecomings

Confederate Avenue Baptist Church in Atlanta will celebrate 83 years at its homecoming service on Sept. 25 with Bible study beginning at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:45 a.m. Former pastor Charles Riggs will speak as well as current pastor Jason Grizzard. Lunch will follow.

Moreland Avenue Baptist Church in Atlanta will celebrate homecoming on Sept. 11 with dinner on the grounds. All members, former members, and friends are invited.

Parkwood Hills Baptist Church in Decatur will celebrate its homecoming on Sept. 11 at the 11 a.m. worship service. Lunch and an afternoon singing program will follow. J. Sheril Jones is pastor.

Sunnyside Baptist Church in Albany will hold revival services beginning Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and continuing Sept. 12-14 at 7 p.m. nightly. Billy Smith will speak and Ron and Claudia Henderson will provide the music.
