Seeds From The SowerBy Michael GuidoPublished April 8, 2004
A gentleman left a rake and a hoe to be fixed. When he picked them up, he handed the mechanic some money. But the mechanic refused it. “No,” he said. “There’s no charge for that little job.” But the man insisted that he take the money. “Sir,” replied the mechanic, “can’t you let a fellow do something – just to stretch his soul?” Round about you are people with burdens that are heavy to bear, with problems that are difficult to solve, and with needs that are hard to meet. Help them, and you’ll stretch your soul. |
