Kenneth D. Wilbanks of Moultrie died March 28 after a brief illness. He was 66.

A Southern Baptist minister for 29 years, Wilbanks served churches in Palmetto; Brunswick; Adel; and Henderson, N.C. He retired in Moultrie in May of 2002.

Funeral services were held March 31 at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home in Moultrie and April 3 at Holly Hills Cemetery in Fairburn.

Wilbanks is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sylvia Hadaway Wilbanks; two daughters, Jo Wilbanks Thompson of St. Louis, Mo., and Beth Wilbanks Tilson of Moultrie; three brothers, W.D. Wilbanks of Fairburn, Edward Wilbanks of Concord, and Harvey Wilbanks of Canton; and sister, Martha Coleman of Colleyville, Texas.
