Ministerial Moves

Marjorie Carter resigned as church secretary at First Baptist Putney on March 19.

Todd Cole has been called as youth minister at Sandy Plains Baptist Church in Marietta. Cole comes to the church from Diamondhead Church in Diamondhead, Miss. where he served as minister of students and education. He is joined by his wife, Dawn.

Craig Crosby accepted a call as associate pastor and minister to students at Grace Pointe Church in Douglas on March 1. He is joined by his wife, Aimee, and three children, Matthew, Joel, and Seth.

Deborah Donaldson has joined the staff at First Baptist Lavonia as financial manager.

Dennis Elliott announced his resignation as pastor of East Griffin Baptist Church on March 14. Charles Killings-worth began serving as interim pastor the following Sunday.

East Vernon Baptist Church in LaGrange called Don Ellison as pastor on Feb. 29. He is joined by his wife, Candy.

Johnny Evans has been called as youth director at Northside Baptist Church in Sylvester as of Feb. 4.

First Church Rincon has called Bill Gammon as associate pastor/education and Jason McNair as minister to students.

Gammon is from Tallahassee, Fla., where he served Faith Baptist for 18 years as associate pastor of education and administration. He is married to the former Lucia Foy.

McNair comes to the church from Salt Lake City, Utah, where he served First Southern Baptist as associate pastor for youth and outreach. He is joined by his wife, Brittany, and two sons, Jonathan and Bryson.
