Numerous opportunities for <i>finding your Judea</i>

It’s a new year and opportunities for missions are just around the corner. Georgia Baptists work across the state to minister in their Judea – their region.

Volunteers are needed throughout the year and especially in the summer months to work alongside all ministries.

Opportunities are as varied as the ministries. Volunteers can teach job skills at Moncrief Baptist Center in Atlanta, pack food boxes at Storehouse Ministries in Marietta, work with children from a dozen different nationalities at Friends of Refugees in Clarkston, or even head for the beach ministries at Golden Isle Ministries.

Missions isn’t always a long-distance experience. Opportunities are available across Georgia and in nearby states, like the annual Georgia Baptist ministry at the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie each year. Volunteers help out at the booth that informs people about the work and ministries of Georgia Baptists, as well as salvation in Jesus Christ.

Stone Mountain Ministries provides a daily summer children’s program for campers at the park. The program – offered free to children – relies on volunteers to provide activities.

Food pantries, like Storehouse Ministries in Marietta, always need volunteers to help sort and pack donated food items.
