On June 1 Mable Beasley celebrated 10 years of service as church secretary at East Griffin Baptist Church in Griffin.

 

Faceville Baptist Church in Bowen Association honored Ken and Connie Gainous on April 25th with a special reception. Ken has served as pastor of the church for 25 years.

 

Grady and Eddie McCannon of Lawrenceville recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. They were married on May 30, 1954, in Alma. The couple are members of Mountain Park First Baptist Church and have one daughter, Anita McCannon Thomason of Snellville.

 

Freddy Hogg celebrated his fifth anniversary as pastor of Pinehurst Baptist Church in Houston Association on May 15.

 

Briarlake Baptist Church in Decatur celebrated Larry Sullivan’s 30 years of service to the church on May 16. Since 1974 Sullivan has served the church in many different roles and currently serves as minister to senior adults and missions. He was honored during the morning worship service and with a reception in the afternoon.
