Joe Westbury Less than 24 hours after their arrival in Moldova, the sons of Jubal were divided into three groups and began presenting concerts throughout the country. Pastors said the concerts, such as this one at a church in Orhei, were strong tools that attracted the unchurched to hear the American singers.

Joe Westury Hundreds packed churches wherever the vocal group sang, including their first stop at a House of Prayer in Orhei, north of the capital city of Chisinau.

Viaceslav said the small group of believers “will now have our own nest where new believers will be born, nurtured, and grow into mature believers to bring others to faith in Christ.”
Joe Westbury Fred Gunter, retired minister of music at The Hill Baptist Church in Augusta, is greeted by a church member prior to a concert. Gunter, a charter member of the group, has not missed an international tour in the 40 years of his membership. “Some folks fish, some go hunting, but singing is my therapy,” he said.
