Seeds from the SowerBy Michael GuidoPublished January 1, 2004
It was just announced that the Procrastinator’s Club postponed its annual convention. The president said a letter explaining the delay would be mailed — if he didn’t put it off. An old legend tells of a meeting of demons for the purpose of destroying souls. One said, "Let’s tell the people the Bible’s a fable." "No," said another, "let’s tell them there’s no God, no life after death." "No," said the third, "let’s tell them there’s no hurry to get right with God." And that’s the plan they’re using to this day — procrastination. But the Bible says, "Now is the accepted time." Don’t put off getting right with God. Put it over. |
