Roddy Turner has resigned from his interim pastorate at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Toccoa.

 

John Forbes has resigned as pastor at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Tugalo Association.

 

Doug Ferguson has resigned as pastor at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Martin.

 

Bill and Melba Boyle resigned from the music ministry at Eastwood Baptist Church in Columbus on Oct. 26. The Boyles served Eastwood for 35 years.

 

Lynn Harris has accepted a call as part-time education director at Memorial Baptist Church in Jesup.

 

Mitch Ash has resigned as pastor of Flat Shoals Baptist Church in Bowersville to accept the call to Rineyville Baptist Church in Kentucky.

 

Richard Bradfield has resigned as pastor of Rehoboth Baptist Church in Bowman to accept the call to Sulfur Springs Baptist Church in Alabama.

 

Tim Owens has been called as youth minister at The Rock Baptist Church in Fairburn Association.

 

Shiloh Baptist Church in LaFayette has called Jack Price as interim pastor.

 

Paul Chambers has been called as interim pastor of Wallaceville Baptist Church in Rossville.

 

Samuel Barrett has resigned as pastor of Waterville Baptist Church in Trion. The church has called Wayne Williams as interim pastor.

 

Phil Warren began his ministry as minister of music at First Acree Baptist Church in Sylvester on Sept. 7.

 

Scott Tomlinson was called as pastor at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Doerun on Sept. 7. He was ordained by the congregation on Sept. 21.

 

Jim Rodgers resigned as pastor from Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Albany, effective Sept. 19.

 

Grady Morey resigned from New Hope Baptist Church on Aug. 31. The church belongs to Mallary Association.

 

Wallace Willis resigned as pastor of Sumner Baptist Church of Mallary Association, effective Oct. 1. Jason Jones was called as interim pastor on Oct. 12.

 

Toby Cooper accepted a call as youth director for Unity Baptist Church in Sylvester beginning Aug. 31.

 

Cecil Clegg has completed a nine-month transitional pastorate at Plainfield Baptist Church in Dodge Association. Clegg is now serving as transitional pastor at Lithia Heights Baptist Church in West Metro Association.

 

Kevin Buttrum has resigned as pastor of East LaGrange Baptist Church. The church is a member of Troup County Association.

 

Bryce Mitchell has been called as pastor of Georgetown Baptist Church in Bethel Association.

 

Bob Vickers has accepted a call as associate pastor at Roswell First Baptist Church. Vickers recently served as head of the chaplaincy team at the North American Mission Board in Alpharetta.

 

DeVotie Baptist Church in Experiment has called Stephen Stringer as pastor. A native of Birmingham, Ala., Stringer previously lived in Anniston where he served as pastor of Fairview Heights Northside Baptist Church. He also served as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Gadsen and Sunset Heights Baptist Church in Lanett. Stringer graduated in 1992 from New Orleans Seminary with a degree in pastoral ministry. He and his wife, Denise, have two sons; Justin and Luke.

 

Carolyn Hunt has accepted a call as church organist at First Baptist Church in Cordele.

 

The music director search committee at Northwoods Baptist Church in Chamblee recommended Bill Myers to serve as music director. Myers accepted the call in October.

 

North Broad Baptist Church in Rome has called Tony and Katrina Brooks as co-pastors.
