Ordinations

First Baptist Church of Hawkinsville elected Dale Garnto, Eddie McDaniel, John Way and Sam Way to serve as deacons on Nov. 2.

Woodrow Cox was ordained as deacon of Friendship Baptist Chapel in Eatonton on Nov. 9.

Eastside Baptist Church in Cairo ordained Eugene Lashley as deacon on Sept. 28.

Charles Matthew Bruner was ordained as deacon on Sept. 28 at Bluffton Baptist Church. The church belongs to Bethel Association.

On Nov. 16, Bill Swentowsky was ordained as deacon at Waldrop Memorial Baptist Church in Columbus.

Gary Hubbard was ordained as deacon on Aug. 17 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Carrollton.

Scott Jackson and John Grenade were ordained as deacons on Nov. 16 at First Baptist Church in Eastman.
