Paul R. Baxter was honored Feb. 1 for 25 years as pastor of First Baptist Church on the Square in LaGrange.

Members of First Baptist Church in Gray celebrated in December the completion of paying off $4 million for building and financing their new sanctuary. In December 2002 the church adopted plans for the new worship center and preschool/children’s education space. The first worship service in the new facility was July 9, 2006.
