Literacy workshops available in March

DULUTH — Several upcoming literacy workshops are available through GBC Language Missions.

On March 14 -16 English as a Second Language, Tutoring Children and Youth, and Adult Reading and Writing will be taught at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Newnan. If completed, attendees qualify for certification through the North American Mission Board.

An additional workshop of English as a Second Language will be held March 27-29 at Beallwood Baptist Church in Columbus. For more information call (706) 653-0097 or (334) 298-8439. The $30 fee includes the manual and lunch on Saturday. Deadline to sign up is March 19.
