Homecomings

Johns Creek Baptist Church in Alpharetta celebrated its tenth anniversary on Oct. 19.

Chattooga Baptist Church on Hwy. 337 in LaFayette celebrated its 165th homecoming on Sept. 28.

Jasper Springs Baptist Church will observe its homecoming on Nov. 9. The worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by a covered-dish dinner. There will be no afternoon service. Theme will be "Working for Thee in 2003". B. Earl Best will serve as guest speaker. Tim Wilder will be guest soloist and Dale Mock will be guest ventriloquist. Since January, Jasper Springs has welcomed 34 new members and baptized 17. New pastor Johnny Bowen and his wife, Geneva will be present. For more information contact Earlene Wilder at (912) 964-1408.
