New board members appointed for Truett-McConnellPublished March 27, 2008
CLEVELAND — Eight new members joined the Board of Trustees for Truett-McConnell College, meeting for the first time Dec. 6-7. The new board members were elected at the Georgia Baptist Convention annual meeting in November. Those elected to serve are: Curtis Collins, term to expire in 2012, president of Collins and Associates in Clermont and a member of Concord Baptist Church in Clermont; Doug Kinsey, term to expire in 2010, vice president of the Blue Green Corporation and a member of First Baptist Helen; David McClendon, term to expire in 2012, pastor of Lebanon Baptist Church in Epworth; Roger Moss, term to expire in 2011, president of Moss Developments in Stockbridge and a member of First Baptist Stockbridge; Aubrey Motz III, term to expire in 2012, now retired but formerly president of Financial Supermarkets, Inc., and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarkesville; William D. Reynolds, term to expire in 2012, partner in the architectural firm of Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart, and Associates, Inc., and a member of Briarlake Baptist Church in Atlanta; Bryant Wright, term to expire in 2010, pastor of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta; and John Yarbrough, term to expire in 2012, pastor of Mount Yonah Baptist Church in Cleveland. |
