Honors

H. Lee Cheek, Jr., chair of the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Brewton-Parker College, has been appointed as the senior fellow of the Alexander Hamilton Centre for the Study of Western Civilization (AHI) in Hamilton, N.Y.

AHI promotes scholarship and debate in the study of freedom, democracy, and capitalism. Cheek recently served as the discussion leader for a national AHI conference that included students and faculty from Harvard and Colgate universities and Hamilton College.
