Thomas Ray Kelley retired May 30 after 34 years of pastorate ministry. Kelley served at Trinity Baptist and Redland Baptist in Valdosta as well as Elam Baptist and Okapilco Baptist in Quitman. In addition, he served at New Macedonia Baptist in Greenville, Fla. and Mount Olive Baptist Church in Madison, Fla. A farewell fish fry was hosted by Okapilco Baptist May 29 with a retirement reception held at Redland Baptist June 6. He is married to the former Sandra Penn from Atlanta. They have three daughters, Lisa, Gena, and Mona, as well as two granddaughters and four grandsons. He and his wife plan to enjoy their mountain home in Franklin, N.C.
