Glyndale Baptist Church in Brunswick ordained Larry Ammons and Gary Wilder as deacons on Jan. 18.

 

Mike Daniels was ordained into the ministry on Jan. 18 at Schomburg Road Baptist Church in Columbus. Daniels is starting a church plant called Higher Ground, targeting the 18 to 24 year old age group. Higher Ground is sponsored by RiverTown Church, which is a recent church plant in the Columbus area. Mike is joined by his wife, Ginny, and their two children. He and his family own and operate Perk Avenue, a coffee house and restaurant that offers live Christian entertainment on the weekends.

 

Darrell Aldridge, Harold T. Clifton, Gene Jordan and Mark Woods were all ordained as deacons on Dec. 21 at Jamestown Baptist Church in Waycross.

Kathyrn Baker, Jack Davis, Jr., and Sandy Shoemaker were ordained as deacons on Jan. 11 at First Baptist Church of Christ in Macon.

 

First Baptist Church in Tifton ordained Morris Tankersley as a deacon on Jan. 11.

 

David Everett and David Sanders were ordained as deacons on Dec. 28 at First Baptist Church of Vienna.
