Ministerial Moves

Bruce Calhoun was called by Hollonville Baptist Church in Williamson as the senior pastor Sept. 14. Calhoun previously served churches in Alabama and Georgia for more than 20 years. 

Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Atlanta called Russell Couch as senior pastor Aug. 24. Couch is a graduate of Mid-Continent University and previously served churches in Kentucky and Alabama.

Tom Kalliokoski began serving as pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Lincolnton in early September.

Rick Langston of Calhoun resigned from Oostanaula Baptist Church after more than 14 years as pastor. He is available for supply and/or interim work and can be reached at (706) 629-1652.

First Baptist Church in Lithia Springs called Kevin McKoy as senior pastor on Sept. 21. A graduate of New Orleans Seminary, he is joined by his wife, Christy, and two children, Riley and Camryn.

Russellville Baptist Church in Forsyth called Michael Quicke as pastor on Sept. 7. His wife, Iris, and four children join him.

John W. Werner has been called as pastor to Smyrna Baptist Church in Burlison, Tenn. Previously he served Salem Baptist Church in Edison since October 2006.

Frank G. Wood has been called as senior pastor of Mt. Alto Baptist Church in Rome. Previously he served churches in Georgia, New York, Tennessee, and Louisiana.
