Bethel Baptist Church in Mulberry Association will celebrate its 100th anniversary at 11 a.m. on July 25. The special service will be followed by lunch and fellowship. Tommy Fountain will bring the message.

 

Briarlake Baptist Church in Decatur will celebrate its 45th anniversary Aug. 1 with a special service at 11 a.m. followed by dinner on the grounds. Danny Wood will bring the message.

 

Friendship Baptist Church in Bartow will celebrate its 50th anniversary on July 25 with services at 10 a.m. followed by dinner on the grounds. Pastor Steve Keener and Clint Hancock, associate pastor, extend the invitation to everyone.

 

Gresston Baptist Church in Eastman celebrated its 49th anniversary July 11 with a special service and dinner on the grounds. Richard A. Goff, church pastor from 1956 to 1959, delivered the message with special music provided by the Canaanland Boys of Jacksonville, Fla. Paul Cowles is pastor.

 

Joel Harrison celebrated his 25th anniversary as associational missionary with the Atlanta Baptist Association in June. Harrison was hired by the association in 1979 as director of educational ministries. He has served as director of missions since 1998.
