Empowering Kingdom Growth emphasis in churches bolstered by DVD

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP) — Bringing a clear message from the heart of God is the goal of “A 40 Day Experience: EKG, The Heartbeat of God,” the newest DVD product in the 40 Day Experience resource line of LifeWay Christian Resources.

Philip Jett, pastor of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, Tenn., said his church will begin studying EKG: The Heartbeat of God the last Sunday in September.

“I’m looking forward to working through the material with my church,” Jett said. “When you have multiple services like we do, it’s important to do things that will bring the whole congregation together.”

Each small group segment on the DVD begins with National Strategist for EKG Kenneth Hemphill recounting life experiences and biblical concepts of God’s love for His people. The resource also includes small group sessions, daily devotions and worship.
