Chandler joins Music Ministries

Keith Chandler has accepted the position of music and worship consultant with the Georgia Baptist Convention. Chandler previously served for 16 years as minister of music at First Baptist Church in Lithia Springs.

A graduate of Shorter College and Southwestern Seminary, he has served in churches in Texas, Alabama, and Georgia. In addition to work through the local church, Chandler has served as president of the Sons of Jubal, a men’s chorus made up of music ministers from across the state.

Chandler’s primary responsibilities will include coordinating youth music camps and the development of new ministries including Georgia Baptist All State, an honor choir and orchestra for older high school students who will participate in mission projects.
