Frances Ellis Lloyd died May 20 at a local hospital. She was 77.

Born in Floyd County, Lloyd was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church.

Along with her husband, Pastor Robert M. Lloyd, the couple served many churches in the Rome and Floyd County area. Over the years she was active in Women’s Missionary Union and had taught Sunday School.
