On Jan. 10 Cal Carpenter and Charlie Taylor were ordained as deacons at First Baptist Church of Tifton.

First Baptist Church of Christ in Macon recently ordained Gwen Colwell, Claire Davis, Jo Ellen McLees, Tracey McMillan, Terree Newberry, Beverly Owens, and Charlie Thomas as deacons. Other newly elected deacons are John Cole, Bruce Conn, Harry Eskew, Rodney Goff, Frank Grove, Dennis Hagerman, George Lee, Suzy McCullough, Bill McLees, Doyle Mendheim, Bryan Shelburne, and Jean Taff.

Skeeter Daniel and John Morgan were ordained as deacons on Jan. 10 at First Baptist Church Americus.
