Ed L. Johnson began his service as associational missionary for the Ogeechee River Baptist Association Oct. 1.

Previously, he served as senior pastor of Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church in Flintstone for nine years. In addition, he served Salem Baptist Church in McDonough and churches in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Lousiana. He has also served in various leadership roles in Georgia associations.
