GBC events rescheduled due to hurricanes

Due to inclement weather over the past month, several Georgia Baptist Convention events were either cancelled or rescheduled.

Discipleship and Family Ministries had two events affected. The Senior Adult Fall Fellowship scheduled for Sept. 27-28 at Jekyll Island was canceled and rescheduled for Dec. 16-17. Also, the Georgia Baptist Association of Ministry Assistants conference slated for Sept. 26-28 at Jekyll Island was cancelled. Youth Ministries cancelled its youth minister training conference, Fall Classic, scheduled for Sept. 17-18. Next year's Fall Classic training event will be held Sept. 23-24, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
