Anniversaries

Joe Donahue celebrated his first anniversary in Sept. as youth pastor at Bethany Baptist Church in McDonough. He and his wife, Kristy, came to the church from Carlisle Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.

Elaine James celebrated her 20th anniversary as church secretary at Calvary Baptist Church in Brunswick on Aug. 29. The church honored her with a dedication and love offering during the morning service. A fellowship meal followed.

Jim Martin celebrated his 25th anniversary as pastor of First Baptist Church Lithonia on Oct. 3.

W. Allen O'Quinn celebrated his 15th year as senior pastor at Bethany Baptist Church in McDonough in July. Bethany has grown from approximately 100 in worship to more than 700 in worship in his 15 years of ministry. O'Quinn also recently celebrated his 30th wedding anniversary to his wife, Debra. They have two children, Matt and Laura.
