Al Gilbert to lead NAMB's 'Love Loud'

ALPHARETTA (BP) — Former Georgia Baptist pastor Al Gilbert has been named to lead the North American Mission Board’s renewed ministry evangelism emphasis. Gilbert, senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC, will lead the initiative, called “Love Loud.”

He announced to his church his acceptance of the position of executive director on Aug. 11. Gilbert served on the Great Commission Resurgence Task Force, which largely restructured NAMB around a stronger church planting emphasis.
