First Baptist Bremen opens doors to new worship center

The 21,000-square-foot worship center at First Baptist Bremen was constructed at a cost of $4.8 million. More than 900 people gathered for the first service Aug. 21.

BREMEN — In his welcome on the church’s website Herman Parker of First Baptist Church Bremen writes, “Our doors and our hearts are always open to you.”

On Aug. 21 the new doors of a brand new worship center were opened to the public at First Baptist and the new sanctuary couldn’t hold them. There were 913 congregants that filled the worship center and spilled over into other rooms that had been especially equipped to broadcast the service to the overflow crowds that were anticipated.
