The football season is over, except for the Super Bowl. Since most of the teams I cheer for had lackluster seasons or unfortunate bowl performances, I am glad the season is history and look forward to next season’s edition of both college and professional football.

I am not a Denver Broncos fan, but I am a Tim Tebow fan. Tebow earned the job as starting quarterback for the Broncos in this most recent season and led them to six straight wins and a playoff berth in the National Football League. The Broncos limped into the playoffs by losing their last three games of the regular season, but won their first playoff game against the favored Pittsburg Steelers with another miraculous victory in overtime before succumbing to what appeared to be a superior New England Patriots team in the second round.
