Ordinations

Ron Brown, Mark Callaway, and Sergio Valdez were ordained as deacons at First Baptist Church of Rincon on Sept. 12.

Eural Cash, Nick Duffey, Luke Thompson, and Chris Walker were ordained as deacons on Oct. 10 at Sargent Baptist Church.

David Childress was ordained as a deacon on Nov. 14 at Crestview Baptist Church in Marietta.

Noonday Baptist Church in Marietta ordained Robert Henry Couser as deacon on Oct. 31. A reception followed.

Shawn Croninger and Mike Little were ordained into the ministry at New Covenant Baptist Church in Cohutta on Nov. 14. The service was led by Jake E. Carroll, pastor.

Glover Baptist Church in Norcross ordained Gregory S. Cruce into the ministry on Oct. 24. He began serving as interim pastor at Crossview Baptist Church in Lilburn on Nov. 1 and is joined by his wife, Amy, and their two children, Elizabeth and Noah.

Howard Duncan, Tommy Thurmond, and Mark Bowen were ordained as deacons on Oct. 10 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Commerce.

Matt Evans was ordained Nov. 7 at First Baptist Church in Cochran.

On Nov. 7 John Hayes was ordained by Trion First Baptist Church at the request of Silver Hill Baptist Church in Summerville. Hayes was called as pastor at Silver Hill after serving two years as an evangelist in Chattooga County. He is joined by his wife, Diane, and family.

Jody Long was ordained into the ministry on Nov. 7 at First Baptist Church of Christ in Macon. Long serves the church as youth minister.
