Ordinations

Weyman Alewine and Bill Smith were ordained into the deacon ministry at Mill Shoal Baptist Church in Hebron Association on Nov. 28.

Jeff Clegg was ordained at First Baptist Church Social Circle at the request of Park Place Baptist Church in Snellville Nov. 19. Clegg was called as pastor of Park Place after serving as education and youth minister at First Social Circle for 9 years. He is a graduate of Truett-McConnell, UGA and New Orleans Seminary. He is joined by his wife, Amy, and sons, Mitchell and Zack.

Josh Riggs, Greg Salter, and Thomas Self were ordained into deacon ministry at Botsford Baptist Church in Burke County on Dec. 12. The sermon was lead by Earl Saxon. Church Pastor Wayne Dixon presented the charge to the deacons and the charge to the church.

John Carey and Shan Culpepper were ordained as deacons by First Baptist Church in Blue Ridge on Jan. 2.

Liberty Baptist Church in Albany ordained Ross Cook into the ministry on Nov. 28. Cook serves the church as minister of youth.

Wade Council and Richard Dennard were ordained as deacons on Jan. 2 at First Baptist Church in Milledgeville.

Freddy Dodd, John Carrington, and Dale Bradford were ordained as deacons at First Baptist Church in Loganville on Dec. 19.

Steven M. Dumas was ordained into the ministry at Waldrop Memorial Baptist Church in Columbus on Jan. 9.

Wade Durham, Joey Hester, Steven Moore, and Kevin Vick were ordained as deacons at First Baptist Church in Thomasville on Jan. 2.

Mullins Ford Baptist Church in Tugalo Association ordained Paul Juday as deacon in November.
