Urges support over evolution stickersBy Pete Fiske, Ocean SpringsPublished February 3, 2005
It is my sincere hope that all Christians in Georgia will help lead the fight against the ACLU in the light of the ruling by a federal judge in favor of a small minority of evolutionism-believing humanists who started this crusade against the anti-evolution-is-a-fact stickers. I pray that you all be bold in the Lord and network with other believers in your area to urge the Cobb County school board to fight this decision all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary. If the school board caves in, it will have to pay the legal fees of the ACLU, which will allow them to continue their anti-God crusade to other places in the nation. Don't think that capitulation will be the end of this matter. The ACLU and its satanic allies will stop at nothing less than total atheism for our nation's kids, and evolutionism is the "scientific" explanation that they use to try to indoctrinate our kids into atheism. I know firsthand of this, I'm a former agnostic and evolutionist who was suckered into this lie as a child and as a result rejected my childhood church beliefs. Please, stand with the Christians on the school board and with other Christians across your area and resist the ACLU and this anti-freedom, anti-Christian decision. Editor's Note: Pete Fiske is a member of First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs, Ms. |
