First Baptist Church in Sandersville will be hosting revival services Feb. 12-15 with evangelist Tim Lee speaking. Lee, a veteran of the Vietnam War, was placed in a wheelchair after a land mine exploded in Quang Nam Province in 1971. Nationally-known author and speaker Jen Hatmaker will be at Beech Haven Baptist Church and several Baptist Collegiate Ministries around the state Feb. 14-17. On Feb. 14 she will begin at Georgia Tech’s BCM before the next day addressing students at Southern Tech BCM in Marietta during lunch and that night speaking at Beech Haven Baptist Church in Athens. On Thursday, Feb. 16, she will speak following lunch with students at Columbus College’s BCM before an evening with Mercer BCM. Hatmaker is the author of “Ms. Understood, A Modern Girl’s Bible Study,” and many other books.
