Tabernacle Baptist Church in Carrollton, Georgia, is seeking a full-time Director of Children’s Ministry who can lead a vibrant children’s ministry in reaching the next generation and their parents for Christ. The Tabernacle Baptist Church Children’s Ministry exists to lead children and their families in establishing solid Christian foundations for growth along their faith journey. The Director of Children’s Ministry must have a passion for Christ and an intentional calling to minister to children from birth to 5th grade students. We are seeking a candidate who is experienced in implementing a program that utilizes volunteer teams in an organized manner for a sustainable and thriving children’s ministry. He or she should have the ability and energy to execute ministry programs at age appropriate levels. The candidate should have strong communication skills for interacting with children and partnering with parents in the spiritual development of their children. The individual should also have the ability to use technology and other resources that are relevant to today’s culture to connect and communicate biblical truth with children and their families. The Director of Children’s Ministry should guide children towards the understanding of accepting Jesus as their Savior and showing God’s love for all people.
