MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — What some might call an “invasion,” Lakeside Baptist Church Pastor Tim Oliver sees as a blessing. Every Monday, Oliver and his wife, Peggy, open their home to students from nearby Georgia College and State University, offering a meal and a Bible study.

MARIETTA, Ga. — Dr. Nelson Lynn Price, age 94, went home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, whom he affectionately always called “Miss Trudy.”

We are at the beach this week with friends. We wanted to go and watch the Blue Angels practice session. We were told it would get very crowded, so we needed to leave quite early as there was usually a line to get through security on the Naval Base. They also only allow a certain number of people to come in and see the show. According to the information online, the show started at 10:30.
