The theme for the 2026 Georgia Baptist Evangelism Conference is Not Ashamed.
The theme was born out of Romans 1:16 where Paul writes, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Paul believed that the gospel has the power to work in any culture, and he was not ashamed to share it with everyone. This passion for the gospel empowered Paul to impact lives with the gospel.
It is our desire to have a similar impact in our day in Georgia! Hence the theme, Not Ashamed. Our prayer is that the Lord will use the 2026 Georgia Baptist Evangelism Conference to both encourage and equip pastors, staff, leaders, and church members alike toward this end!
Georgia is our home field, and the light that shines the furthest always shines the brightest at home first! So, let’s own Not Ashamed of the gospel as we labor to reach our mission field. Seven million people in Georgia don’t know Jesus, and every church has a role to play in reaching them together.
I invite you to join us at the 2026 Evangelism Conference, hosted at two locations, for a weekend of practical training, biblical encouragement, meaningful connections, and the chance to strengthen a statewide movement.
Evangelism Conference Locations:
Hoschton: Feb. 22–23
Thomasville: Mar. 1–2
